The modes are played by alternating in the ascending and the descending sense.

This exercise is rather difficult. Operating within the modal scale, the notes are played by continuously alternating the ascending and descending senses.

Another complicated exercise. As you can see, we have continuous string changes within every single modal scale, and in some cases you need to change the fingering of the left hand.
