Position of the notes on the fretboard |
The graph below illustrates the position of the notes on the fretboard of the guitar. As you can see, the altered notes are identified as sharp (#) to facilitate the reading. Remember that an altered note can have two different names according to the graph below, seen in the section devoted to inharmonic notes.
